Bugaboo Stamps: Cupcake Kids | Orange Boy

Have you ever had dulce de leche? It's a type of candy made in Mexico (perhaps all of Latin American) that tastes a bit like caramel and PURE SUGAR!!! It's so sweet that you can't even bite into to it - You have to nibble it. No. . .wait. . .you can't even nibble it - You have to "shave" it with your two front teeth. Taste it, and you'll get a cavity. Eat it, and you'll buy your dentist a pleasure boat.

My sample below is the cardmaker's equivalent of dulce de leche. ;) I made it using Bugaboo Stamps for tdean32's Everything is Coming Up "Top Note" swap on Splitcoaststampers and this week's Catch the Bug Oldie, but Goody Thursday.

Supplies: Bugaboo Stamps image, Stampin' Up! card stock, American Traditional Designs designer paper, Copic markers, Prismacolor markers, Liquid Applique, Diamond Glaze, Artful Inkables sentiment.

Bugaboo Stamps: Smoosh & Lift Tutorial

No, we're not talking about how to get the most out of your Wonderbras here, you cheeky little monkeys. . .;) We're talking about Melissa's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G background technique tutorial for Bugaboo Stamps and our challenge blog, Catch the Bug.

Bugaboo Stamps: In Love | Couple

I don't know about you, but Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein indelibly marks my elementary school experience. I'm not in the remotest bit a fan of poetry (probably because I just don't get it!), but I so love the musicality of his work. When I saw Bugaboo StampsIn Love | Couple, the poem, Hug O' War, simply leaped out of my head and onto my card. You should have seen it happen - It was really rather dramatic . . .;)

Supplies: Bugaboo Stamps image, Papertrey Ink card stock, Stampin' Up! card stock, ??? designer paper, Copic markers, Prismacolor markers, Bazzill embellishments, Mark Richards embellishments, computer-generated sentiment.

Bugaboo Stamps: Fanny Calendar Months | March

If you like Bugaboo StampsRuby Calendar Months, then you're going to love Fanny Calendar Months even though my sample below leaves a teensy-weensy bit to be desired. . .;) I was trying to keep it simple. . .let the designer paper speak for itself with just a whisper of Stickles. Hmm. . .Maybe I should have just told it to HUSH! instead. . .;)

Supplies: Bugaboo Stamps images, Stampin' Up! card stock, Gin-X designer paper, Copic markers, Prismacolor markers, Stickles, computer-generated sentiment.

Bugaboo Stamps: Stella Love | Roller Coaster

WHEEEEE!!!

If you've seen this Bugaboo Stamps image already, then you already know that the sentiment on the inside of the card reads, "Love is like a roller coaster. . .When it's good you don't want to get off. . .when it isn't you can't wait to throw up."

Note to Self: Concept, excellent. Execution, not so much. . .SIGH! As you can see my Copic-ing and Diamond Glaze-ing were not playing well together. Instead of letting them work it out, I kept interfering.

Supplies: Bugaboo Stamps image, Archiver's card stock, Papertrey Ink card stock, American Crafts designer paper, Copic markers, Prismacolor Markers, Sakura Glaze pen, Diamond Glaze.

Bugaboo Stamps: ABaC Monday (02/08/2010)

As we approach Valentine's Day our thoughts naturally turn to. . .no, not love. . .candy. ;) Tanya's ABaC using Bugaboo Stamps is perfect in every detail: the image, the frilly border, the girly colors, and of course the itty-bitty chunks of love otherwise known as chocolate. . .;)

While we're just chatting today, let me offer my sincerest thanks to all of you that participated in Catch the Bug's Valentines With a Twist challenge and my congratulations to the winners. It's truly a pleasure to bounce around blogland looking at all the creative ways that Bugaboo Stamps are being used. :D I'm looking forward to doing it again when Catch the Bug hosts their next challenge starting on 02/13/2010 - Go for the Gold - which is inspired by the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

And, if you haven't already, make sure you drop by Gabby's blog, Confessions of a Stamper, to welcome her to Bugaboo Stamps. Gabby is the guest designer for 02/2010, and I'm thrilled!!! If you've been reading my blog for a bit, you know that I've built an altar to her on my fireplace mantel because her talent is beyond amazing and her soul is beautiful.

Finally, check back with me as I'm going to be posting new cards every day this week starting with my next post. :D
