Bugaboo Stamps & Catch the Bug: 08/14/2010

I love learning. I love school. Call me a geek, but despite the fact that my parents kept my sister and I busy all summer long with camps & classes, I simply couldn't wait for August and school to start. And now that I'm an adult, I'm waiting for the day that my husband Lance makes enough money so I can not only be a kept woman, but a professional student as well. . .;)

ABCs? 

BLECH. . .UGH. . .PFFT-PFFT. . .GAAAAAG!!!

On my best day I can't make an ABC that's even 2.67% as good as one made by Angie, Cammy or Paul on their worst  day. But, if I want to continue being on the Bugaboo Stamps DT (which I do, of course) I have to make one for ABC Monday on our challenge blog, Catch the Bug, once per term. . .;)

OOPS. . .I forgot to mention that the box is filled with a package of hot chocolate, a candy cane, and an individually wrapped piece of Ghiradelli chocolate.

PS. The ribbon is brown, the pearl embellishments are red, and the "stitching" on the snowflake is red. My camera apparently dislikes "twilight" as much as I do. . .;)

The Crafty Hos: Primary Colors Challenge

My favorite female cousin Maria Angelica Garza Olivarez de Bazan y Sanchez passed away peacefully Tuesday night after a lengthy illness. She would have been 61 years old in September. Vaya con los angelitos y que Dios te bendiga, mi prima.

Wondering why I'm posting that here? Because Jita (which is a Spanish endearment) was a HO! A seriously spoiled, petulant, plush, pink peignoir-wearing, telenovela-watching, bon-bon eating kept woman. My mama would always say, "You're gonna end up like Jita!" And I'd retort, "I hope so!"

I hope God has maribou and Univision in Heaven. . .;)
