No, I'm NOT getting tired of cowboys or Texas! It'd be IMPOSSIBLE for me to do either!!!

Happy Texas Independence Day!!! And how will I be celebrating this absolutely fabulous day in history??? By sitting at First Texas Honda while my CR-V gets its 60K service. I know. . .Don't cry for me, Argentina.

Thankfully, First Texas Honda's waiting room has Wi-Fi so I won't miss a single second of Bugaboo Stamps' New Release Tuesday! Jodie, God bless her little pea-pickin' heart, is releasing two new and very different lines just in time for Easter!

There's nothing quite like Texas on Saturday night.

It's honky-tonkin' Heaven underneath that Lone Star sky!

OK. . .Fine. . .So it's actually Monday morning, but you get the picture. If Texas is God's Country, then Austin's where He actually hangs His hat. . .;) And, it's with that modest thought (NOT!) that I decided to pay a little well-earned tribute to my home state, hometown, and Bugaboo Stamps with this CD/CD case for Catch the Bug's ABaC Monday.

The irony is, most country music generally makes me gag. . .BLECH. . .UGH. . .PFFT-PFFT! But Texas music. . .specifically Texas Blues and Outlaw Country. . .that's a whole other story. . .Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Earle, the list goes on and on. . .SIGH!!! ;) So, if you want to own your little piece of the Lone Star State, make sure that you participate in Catch the Bug's Go for the Green blog hop. The Crafty Hos: Single Layer Challenge

The Crafty Hos are still working out the kinks (for a fee, of course), but we're up and running with a new challenge this week - Single Layer Card. And HOLY FRIJOLE, it's a lot harder than it looks. . .especially since I could only use buttons and ribbon on it.

But, but, but. . .What about designer paper? And brads?? And bling??? And Dimensionals?!?!? EEK!!!

PS. The buttons are really a perfect match for the red ink, but they came out dark in the picture. . .Oh well. . .SIGH! ;)
