Bugaboo Stamps: Nurse Margaret | Nice Nurse

Didja' know that Stella has a sister? You didn't? You'll meet Nurse Margaret when you skip-to-my-lou over to Bugaboo Stamps and download this week's Freebie Friday. Actually, there are two free images available this week. Nurse Margaret | Nice Nurse and Baskets | Puppy. Since I'm cutting down on sugar this week, I think you know what my sneaky-peeky is NOT going to be of . .;)

I was going for candy-striper (sp?), but I ended up with circus-freak. . .SIGH!!!

BTW. . .here's a little hint. Do NOT assume that all black brads are the same, and in doing so mix differing brads together. Maybe it's the OCD, but all three of the black brads that I used on my card look REALLY different to me. . .;)

I know you're getting short-changed on the yadda. . .yadda. . .yadda, but by the time you read this I'll be somewhere over the Grand Canyon on my way to the CHA Winter 2010 SuperShow!!! I'll be meeting some SCS friends there - yoorah, daiseyfreak, laurajean, sgc, babitoons, mrs_s, and artsylori - where we're going to soak up the mojo and spend the equivalent of a developing nation's GNP. . .;)

I'll see y'all (Yes, I'm from Texas!) on Sunday!

Bugaboo Stamps: Faux Flower Soft Tutorial

Everything that you ever wanted to know about faux Flower Soft, but were afraid to ask. . .;)

Tammy, Bugaboo Stamps' DT Coordinator has a easy and inexpensive tutorial  on her blog, Create When I Can, on how to create the fluffy stuffy.

While you're there, please take a moment to tell Tammy what an ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS job she's doing - I don't know what the Bugaboo Stamps family would do without her.

Bugaboo Stamps: Mildred | Hide Bodies

Mildred | Hide Bodies is the name of one of Bugaboo Stamps' BRAND SPANKIN' NEW IMAGES.

I'm afraid that you won't get the full effect of my card because A) I didn't take a picture of the second part of the sentiment, "I'm running out of places to hide the bodies!", which is inside the card. And, B) I couldn't take a decent picture even if my life depended on it. Readers, do you have any hints how NOT to take such washed-out pictures???

Supplies: Bugaboo Stamps image, Stampin' Up card stock, American Crafts designer paper, Copic markers, Prismacolor markers, Sakura Glaze Pen, Making Memories embellishments, The Paper Studio embellishments.

Bugaboo Stamps & Catch the Bug: 01/15/2010 (cont.)

When I came back to my blog a bit after posting the start of Bugaboo Stamps' blog hop, I almost pee'd in my panties because I had 17 whole comments!!! As that number increased over the course of the weekend, I kept getting more and more excited until FINALLY. . .I printed all your comments out, laid them on the floor of my office, and rolled around naked on them. . .;)

My sincerest thanks ladies - You have no idea how happy you made me. . .:D

The WINNER WINNER WINNER (generated by entering the number of comments at Random.org, and excluding those by Bugaboo Stamps DT memebers) of my blog candy celebrating Bugaboo Stamps' first blog hop is:

36-JANELL

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Send your 411 to huera90@gmail.com, and I'll make sure that your package goes in the mail before I leave for the CHA Winter 2010 SuperShow on 01/22/2010.

Just because I'm feeling a little light-headed will all this excitement, and just because you continued reading after I announced the winner, I decided to draw two more names to receive the same embelllishments pictured in the grand prize. I'm afraid that you won't receive the gift bag, candy, 3x3 card, or free trip to Starbucks, but I hope it's worth your continued support of Bugaboo Stamps. . .;) The winners are:

51-JEAN PETERS
57-DEIRDRE

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Send your 411 to huera90@gmail.com, and I'll make sure that your package goes in the mail before I leave for the CHA Winter 2010 SuperShow on 01/22/2010.

In the event that I don't hear from the winners, I'll draw another name(s) next Monday, 01/25/2010.

And Now for Something Completely Different. . .

Happy Birthday Yoo-Rah!!!

Unlike Martin Luther King, Jr, Yoo-Rah was spawned from the womb of Hell bathed in amniotic evil. . .;)

Still. . .she is  quite possibly one of the best "online" friends that I've ever had, and I love her very, VERY much! MWAH!

Yoo-Rah, I can't wait to see you at the CHA Winter 2010 SuperShow this weekend!!!

One Man Came in the Name of Love. . .

Happy Birthday Martin Luther King, Jr!

Bugaboo Stamps: Critter Blocks | Cat

If you've learned anything from reading my blog, you know that Gabby Green Eyes, my little Emo Ho, is one avatar of THE trine stamping goodess. The other two are Jen del Muro and Nichole Heady, but more about them another time. Anyway, she's currently hosting a Freaky Cat Lady swap on SCS right now. Now, despite the fact that I'm neither freaky, nor a cat, nor much of a lady I still had to worship at her altar, so to speak. And, since I'm a now a member of the Bugaboo Stamps DT, I had to pay a little lip service to Jodie too because she's been so good to me.

For the record, Andrew Lloyd Webber ruined a perfectly good collection of T.S. Eliot's poems. . .RAT BASTARD!!!
