Jeez Louise, if there was ever a Hallmark (or should I say Hershey) holiday. . .
Needing the 411 on what Sweetest Day was supposed to be celebrating, I clickity-clacked, tippity-tapped my way over to the site above and found myself laughing my considerably padded ass off at this gem:
"Sweetest Day now largely involves the woman giving small presents such as greeting cards, candy,or flowers to her man. Making breakfast for her man is an accepted way to start the day in the south, especially in Texas. "
Riiiiight. . .I may be generalizing about Texan men, but I'm pretty sure that most of them would prefer a morning bout of conjugal calisthenics, rather than breakfast, in bed to start their day. . .;)
The Challenge: Make a "sweets"-themed project (i.e. candy, chocolate, cupcakes, love, roses, breakfast in bed (if you're so inclined) etc) and post a link to it on Bugaboo Stamps' challenge blog, Catch the Bug, by 10/23/2010 at 7:00 AM EST to be entered in a random drawing for three digi prize packs - seven, four, or two digital images!
PS. I much prefer toffee to chocolate, just in case anyone out there wants to send me something for Halloween. . .;)
Supplies: Bugaboo Stamps image, Paper Trey Ink card stock, Stampin' Up! card stock, Basic Grey designer paper, Copic markers, Prismacolor markers, ??? ribbon, The Paper Studio embellishments.
