Bugaboo Stamps & Catch the Bug: 03/27/2010

FINALLY!!!
GEEZ LOUISE, I didn't thing that this day was EVAH-EVAH going to get here!!!

If you're making the rounds of the Bugaboo Stamps DT for the color challenges this morning, then you've probably arrived here from Tanya's blog, - She does fabulous work, huh?

If you've got game, make and post a project - using the colors coral, kiwi, and banana - to Catch the Bug by 04/03/2010 at 7:00 AM EST. You could win one of three prizes - seven, four, or two free digital images - just for uploading your card to our challenge blog.

PS. YES, I DO consider orange to be coral-ly-ish. . .;)

But enough about what I think. . .Let's talk about someone else for a change. Oh, I don't know. . .someone like . . .

JODI C.
You guessed it! :D We're thrilled to announce that Jodi's agreed to bring her talent, her creativity, and her passion for paper crafting to Bugaboo Stamps and Catch the Bug! She'll be joining the DT effective 04/01/2010, and we can't wait for you to see all of the wonderful things that she has in store! If you want a sneaky-peeky poo, check out her blog, Reflectionz in Paper & Ink - Some of my favorite projects are here, here, and here. And, if you want to know a little bit more about her, read below:

ME: What Do you like best about Bugaboo Stamps?
JODI: I love the variety they offer. That I can get a cute little girl or bird, or a very funny sentiment with a great image. We all need some laughter once in a while.

ME: How would you describe your style?
JODI: I don't really think I have a style. I usually decide on the style after I pick my stamp and colors and/or paper.

ME: What craft supply could you not live without?
JODI: Besides stamps, I couldn't live without my die cuts. I have Spellbinders and Quickutz and use them all the time. Next would be my punches....love those too!!!

ME: What are 3 words that describe you best?
JODI: Mom (I LOVE that one....my incredible dream come true). Loyal. Stubborn (I'm not always proud of this one.....but it can be a good thing sometimes)

ME: What is the best advice you can give someone that wants to be on a Design Team?
JODI: Keep on trying, and don't be discouraged if you are not chosen right away. If that is a goal you have set, continue to apply to teams you are interested in. I believe that eventually you will find the right match.

When you've finished here, off you go to Scrappy's blog and whatever news she might have for you there. . .;) In fact, why don't you visit all the blogs of the Bugaboo Stamps DT, see what's (or who's) new there, jot it down, and send it in an e-mail to tsmiller@insightbb.com (Put "Blog DT Members" in the Subject line.). If you'll do that, we'll add your name to the pot for an additional prize drawing!!!

Bugaboo Stamps: Sock Monkey Girl | Love

Just another Manic Monday. . .(sigh)

Why I Work: A Short Essay

I like to craft.

The End.

I created the following yet again for my fellow DT member Michele's Digtial Card Swap on SCS. This was supposed to be Fancy Folds/Techniques/Shapes Card, but I saw "gift card holder" in the instructions and thought that I *might* be able to squeeze one of these babies in since Michele loves the Sock Monkey Girl images from Bugaboo Stamps and I actually purchased the May Arts ribbon from her. . .;)  I wanted to embellish them a bit more, but if you're carrying this around in your purse less is probably waaaaay more. . .;)

And speaking of ABaCs, get inspired by Jacki's animal cracker box for this week's ABaC Monday at Catch the Bug. It's an absolutely fabulous gift box or party favor for a child (or adult who loves animal crackers. . .like me!).

Supplies: Bugaboo Stamps image, Stampin' Up! card stock, Jenni Bowlin designer paper, Copic markers, Prismacolor markers, May Arts ribbon.
